Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to accelerate our growth across the European defence sector. This is a new business–driven role: identifying opportunities, building trusted relationships, and closing deals.

France is already a mature and strategic market where you will provide support, but your main focus will be driving growth in wider European markets, with selected opportunities internationally. You will own the customer relationship until dedicated account managers are onboarded, ensuring smooth engagement and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across European defence markets, with potential to pursue global opportunities.

  • Support activities in the French defence market while prioritising European expansion.

  • Act as the primary contact for new prospects and existing defence customers.

  • Translate customer needs into tailored value propositions for SORASYS and SYNAPSE.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical, financial, and programmatic proposals.

  • Convey customer requirements to internal teams, ensuring delivery matches expectations.

  • Build pipeline through conferences, industry events, and direct customer engagement.

  • Share market intelligence on opportunities, competitors, and procurement trends.

  • Contribute to differentiation strategies and development of marketing material.

  • Provide continuity post-win until accounts transition to dedicated managers.

  • Deliver accurate forecasts and pipeline reports to support commercial strategy.

Pré-requis du poste

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience selling SaaS or data-driven solutions into the defence sector.

  • Proven track record of winning new business in complex, high-value environments.

  • Strong network within European defence organisations; international contacts are a plus.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Solid knowledge of defence procurement, contracting, and acquisition cycles.

  • EU-based, with flexibility for frequent travel across Europe and beyond.

  • Fluent English; other European languages highly valued.
