POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Senior Radar Systems Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of advanced radar systems for Space Situational Awareness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring system architecture aligns with performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System design and architecture
Gather customer requirements and draft detailed technical specifications for radar systems.
Design or adapt radar system architectures to meet performance requirements such as accuracy, reliability, and redundancy.
Identify critical technologies, components, and partners for system integration.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Development and integration
Oversee the development of radar subsystems, including hardware, software, and algorithms.
Lead the integration of radar components into a cohesive and functional system architecture.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
Testing and validation
Define and implement comprehensive testing campaigns to assess radar performance.
Participate in validation phases to ensure systems meet all technical and operational specifications.
Ensure high testability and redundancy levels for system reliability in operational environments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Experience: At least 10 years in radar systems design, development, and integration, ideally in space or defense.
Skills:
Proficiency in radar system architecture design, including phased array radar and real-time processing.
Experience with system-level simulations and performance evaluations.
Strong knowledge of hardware-software integration and RF system design.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and industry compliance requirements.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
